Amalia welcomes a small number of guests each year. Privacy before publicity: the island’s location is shared only once your stay is confirmed.

Is the whole island ours?
Yes. Amalia is rented as a whole island to one group at a time. There are no other guests.
How many guests can stay?
Up to fourteen, across five houses for sleeping.
Who cooks?
A private chef and assistant are with you for the whole stay and prepare every meal. They plan menus for you around your dietary needs.
Is it suitable for children?
Very. There is a house just for children, with bunk beds, and many experiences are designed for families across generations.
Is the island accessible?
The island is reached by boat and its paths climb over natural granite, with steps between the houses. It is not suited to wheelchairs or guests with limited mobility. Please tell us about everyone travelling, and we will advise honestly.
Where exactly is the island?
In the Finnish archipelago, at sixty degrees north. The exact location is shared once your stay is confirmed.
How do we get there?
By helicopter directly to the island’s own helipad, or by private car to the coast and on by boat through the islands. Airport transfers and a personal driver are included.
What does a stay cost?
The island is rented as a whole, for a minimum of three nights. The nightly rate includes your host, chef and team, all meals, soft drinks, coffee and tea, airport transfers, the boat to the island and a personal driver, and what there is to do on the island.
Helicopter or private yacht arrivals, excursions beyond the island and other special wishes are added to your proposal, which we prepare after a personal conversation about your dates, your group and your plans.
Can we bring our own staff?
Of course. A nanny, assistant or security travelling with you stays in one of the island’s houses, within the fourteen guests, and is looked after as our guest like everyone else.
